Reduced Voltage Motor Starters

Class 7135 and 7136 DC Reduced-Voltage Motor Starters

Constant or adjustable-speed starters, reduced-voltage motor starters are used with shunt or compound-wound DC motors. They bring the motor up to speed in a set time, independent of load. Applications include turbine emergency lube oil pumps, machine tools, conveyors, pumps, and blowers.

Class 7145 and 7146 DC Reversing Reduced-Voltage Motor Starters

These starters include benefits listed with the 7135 and 7136 starters (above) but allow for motor reversing. These starters are available with dynamic braking for minimum stopping times. Reversing starters can be used on machine tools and conveyors.
